Overview
LEC AI is offering five summer intern positions to work alongside senior engineers on production AI systems. Interns will contribute to projects like Donnie (agentic executive digital twin platform), Bishop (data foundation model for structured operational data), and AI systems for LEC Robotics and LEC Beverages. The focus is on building real production systems with commercial deployment from day one.

The internship runs from the first week of June through the end of August 2026, full time, five days a week, in person at 1 Knightsbridge Green, Knightsbridge, London SW1X 7QA.
Interns will be paid £2,500/month. A permanent AI Engineer role at £70,000 is on offer for the strongest final year and postgraduate interns.
Applicants must be undergraduate (2nd year onwards) or postgraduate students at a top UK university, studying Computer Science, Mathematics, AI, Machine Learning or a related discipline. Strong Python skills are required, and familiarity with LLMs, agents, RAG or vector databases is a strong plus. A genuine builder mindset and the ability to work full time in person are also required.
