Overview
London-based on-site software engineering internship at Arctic Lake, a high-performance trading and infrastructure startup, with production responsibility from week one.
3 to 6 month internship in the London office. Choose your track: trading systems, FPGA and hardware acceleration, distributed ledger, or internal tooling. Visa sponsorship available.
£50,000 per annum pro rata — top decile for London engineering interns. potential conversion into a permanent role.
Undergraduates from any year with strong systems-programming fundamentals (C++, Rust or similar). interest in low-latency systems is a plus.
Application → technical screen → 1 to 2 onsite-style interviews focused on systems and problem-solving.
Highly selective. small team, deep technical bar, but conversion into full-time is realistic.
One of the few UK opportunities to touch FPGA/HFT-style infrastructure as a student. excellent springboard into quant trading firms.
