- Our programme is aimed at students from Black heritage backgrounds pursuing a PhD in cancer-related fields.
- You must also meet the general entry requirements for the PhD programme at a CRUK Centre.
How to apply
Restrictions
- Will start the 1 st year of PhD programme in autumn 2026.
Timeline
- Applications for the programmes will open in early September 2025.
- We would encourage you to submit your application form as early as possible once applications open on 2 nd September.
Competitiveness
- For the fourth year of the programme a total of 9 PhD scholarships will be available in 2026.
- Nine student places are available for our fourth round starting in September 2026.
