Why this matters
- The scholarship aims to attract students from a broader range of backgrounds to tackle the lack of diversity in the built environment, offering mentoring, personal support and careers advice.
Funding structure
- Full UK-rate tuition fees plus a stipend of £15,864 towards living and study expenses, paid annually for the expected duration of the course (three or four years).
Eligibility breakdown
- Candidates must be UK domiciled with home fee status or a forced migrant in the UK, have an accepted UCL offer for a Bartlett undergraduate course for 2027-28, and never completed an undergraduate degree.
- Additional criteria include financial need, Black/Asian/Minority Ethnic background, Gypsy/Roma/Traveller community, disability, care experienced, free school meals, disadvantaged area, or first generation to attend university.

- Applications for the 2027-28 academic year will open on 4 June 2027 and close on 2 July 2027.
- Successful applicants will be notified by 20 September 2027.
Competitiveness
- Up to ten scholarships are awarded each year.
- Due to the volume of applications we received, not all eligible candidates will be selected for shortlisting.
