Funding
- Up to £16,000 The Giles Baker Scholarship for Tonmeisters will support two students on the Music and Sound Recording (Tonmeister) programme with their studies at the University of Surrey by providing £12,000 (£4,000 per academic year for up to three years of study).
- An additional £4,000 will be given should a Professional Training Year be taken.
Eligibility
- Be a first-year student studying one of the following degrees at the University of Surrey ( any students who will be in a Foundation Year during 2026/27 are not eligible): Music and Sound Recording (Tonmeister) BMus Music and Sound Recording (Tonmeister) BSc.
- Meet at least one of the following Widening Participation (WP) criteria as listed below: Students from Low Participation Neighbourhoods (LPNs, defined as POLAR4 Quin.
