Overview
- The scheme will mentor you in the fundamental steps of deterministic design, the basics of machine performance, problem solving, development and validation, whilst learning the details of each subsystem.
What you'll do
- During your placement year you may be placed in one of the following engineering areas, working on live projects and continuous improvement activities.
Eligibility
- Applicants will be on target to achieve a minimum of 2:2 honours degree level in the following disciplines: Agricultural, Electronics/Electrical, Computer Engineering, Mechanical and Mechatronics.
- To be eligible to complete a 12-Month Industrial Placement commencing July 2027, you must be in your penultimate year of study unless enrolled in an integrated master’s program.
Structure & format
- Working pattern: This role requires a 5 day in the office model.
Funding structure
- Salary: £26,000, Share Scheme, Pension and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays).
Selection process
- Your responses will be reviewed by the hiring team, and You will then be invited to attend an in-person Assessment Centre, which we anticipate will take place on either Wednesday 9th December or Thursday 10th December at our Peterlee facility.
