Overview
AETC Limited, a UK division of Precision Castparts Corp (PCC), runs a placement programme for new talent. This IT Technician Placement provides students with hands-on experience in IT operations, reporting to the Network Administrator. Throughout the programme, students will present on projects and receive one-to-one support.
Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) is a global manufacturer of complex metal components and products, primarily serving the aerospace, power, and general industrial markets. Founded in 1953 and based in Portland, Oregon, the firm supplies critical parts and services used in aircraft, energy generation, and various industrial applications worldwide.

This is a 12-month industrial placement based at the Leeds site, covering both Leeds and Leicester facilities. It involves a 38-hour working week.
The role offers a salary of £24,800 per annum plus benefits.
Candidates should be studying a relevant IT course with a strong predicted grade (2.1 or above) and ideally possess a UK Driving Licence. Essential skills include problem-solving, communication, hardware/software knowledge, motivation, MS Office proficiency, and familiarity with desktop concepts and network troubleshooting.
