IT and Business Services Year in Industry

This is a 12-month industrial placement. Students will experience various roles within the department such as project management, service management, information systems strategy, and application support. The start date is September 2027.

The salary for the Year in Industry programme is £22,932.

Applicants must be in their penultimate year at university and on track to achieve at least a 2:2 in any degree subject. A passion for IT and digital transformation, attention to detail, data analysis skills, and comfort with creative problem-solving are desired.

The application process is not detailed, but students can register their interest for the 2027 program. The 2026 program is already closed.
