What you'll do
- It powers schools, businesses and hospitals, so I knew that if I did my placement within EDF then I would have a really large impact on society.
Eligibility
- To be eligible for this EDF industrial placement you should be on track to achieve, or have already achieved, a 2:2 undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Chemistry.
- It is a requirement that those who join us have the right to work in the UK.
- Whilst sponsorship may be a possibility, we reserve the right in our decisions to give priority to those who already have the right to work in the UK.
- To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which will, ordinarily, require you to have been a resident of the UK for at least three of the past five years.
- Should you disclose a disability and meet the minimum criteria (which will include holding a relevant degree discipline/grade and achieving the required pass mark for Stage 1 Testing) for the role you’ll be progressed to the first stage of the selection process.
Structure & format
- Working pattern: Your Work Location You’ll be based at our Heysham 2 Power Station, where you’ll work on site and connect with colleagues across the business.
