Overview
- This 12-month placement offers a starting salary of £26,050 and the chance to work at one of our key nuclear sites.
- You’ll apply academic knowledge to real industry contexts, with put your overalls on and go and have a look at the plant yourself, while completing degree-relevant modules and gaining insight into engineering and outage management within the energy sector.

Eligibility
- To be eligible for this EDF industrial placement, you need to be on track to achieve, or have already achieved, a bachelor’s degree (2:2 or higher) in Project Management, Planning or Engineering.
- It is a requirement that those who join us have the right to work in the UK.
- Whilst sponsorship may be a possibility, we reserve the right in our decisions to give priority to those who already have the right to work in the UK.
- To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which will, ordinarily, require you to have been a resident of the UK for at least three of the past five years.
- Should you disclose a disability and meet the minimum criteria (which will include holding a relevant degree discipline/grade and achieving the required pass mark for Stage 1 Testing) for the role you’ll be progressed to the first stage of the selection process.

Location
- Hybrid working may be available outside of outage periods, subject to business requirements, however, a minimum of three days per week on site will be required.
- During outage periods and the final stages of outage preparation, you will be expected to work full-time.
