  • It powers schools, businesses and hospitals, so I knew that if I did my placement within EDF then I would have a really large impact on society.
Eligibility
  • To be eligible for this EDF industrial placement, you need to be on track to achieve, or have already achieved, a bachelor’s degree (2:2 or higher) in Engineering.
  • It is a requirement that those who join us have the right to work in the UK.
  • Whilst sponsorship may be a possibility, we reserve the right in our decisions to give priority to those who already have the right to work in the UK.
  • To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which will, ordinarily, require you to have been a resident of the UK for at least three of the past five years.
  • Should you disclose a disability and meet the minimum criteria (which will include holding a relevant degree discipline/grade and achieving the required pass mark for Stage 1 Testing) for the role you’ll be progressed to the first stage of the selection process.
Structure & format
  • Working pattern: Your Work Location You’ll be based on site at either Heysham 1 or 2 Power Station (Lancashire), within the Engineering Department.
