Overview

  • This Mechanical, Electrical and HVAC (MEH) Supply Chain Industrial Placement is expected to begin in early September 2027 and offers a starting salary of £26,050, with support the delivery of Hinkley Point C, one of Europe's largest infrastructure projects.
  • During this 12-month placement, you'll gain hands-on experience in contract management, supplier engagement and strategic procurement.
  • You'll contribute to a project that will provide clean electricity for millions of homes while supporting the UK's energy security.
What you'll do
Eligibility
  • To be eligible for this EDF Industrial Placement, you need to be studying towards, or have already achieved, a bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Geography, Science, Supply Chain and Logistics, or a closely related discipline.
  • To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which will, ordinarily, require you to have been a resident of the UK for at least three of the past five years.
  • Should you disclose a disability and meet the minimum criteria (which will include holding a relevant degree discipline/grade and achieving the required pass mark for Stage 1 Testing) for the role you’ll be progressed to the first stage of the selection process.
