Overview
- The post provides specialist technical support for a workshop training programme for undergraduate Mechanical Engineering students.
- The post holder will be expected to manage, operate and continually review and evaluate the programme according to accreditation requirements.
- If required, assist or prepare risk assessments and keep these up to date.
- You will need to maintain all records as appropriate.
What you'll do
- To ensure the effective and flexible use of resources, you may have opportunities to work across different areas within the department or the wider University, contributing your skills where they are most needed.
Eligibility
- GCSE level 2 (A*- C) or equivalent level 2 qualification in mathematics and English.
Funding structure
- Salary: £27,546 to £29,171.
- In addition, you will receive a generous package of benefits including 40 days paid holiday a year, one paid day a year for volunteering, occupational sick pay, and a pension scheme.
