Overview

Young Londoners aged 16–24 sit on the Mayor's Violence Reduction Unit advisory group, shaping policies and representing young people on issues around safety and violence reduction in the capital.

Structure & format

Around two evening sessions per week plus additional availability during school holidays. You work alongside decision-makers and influence real policy decisions inside City Hall.

Pay & benefits

Paid (rate set by the VRU).

Eligibility

Aged 16–24. Must live in a London borough for the next two years. Open to school, college and university students. CV is not assessed as part of the application.
