What you'll do
  • This 12-month placement offers a starting salary of £26,050 and the chance to work on site at one of our #Heysham 1 and 2 Power Stations.

Eligibility
  • To be eligible for this scheme, you need to be on track to achieve, or have already achieved, a 2:2 undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Environmental Science, Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Engineering.
  • This position is also suitable for candidates undertaking a year in industry as part of their degree programme, subject to your university requirements.
  • It is a requirement that those who join us have the right to work in the UK.
  • Whilst sponsorship may be a possibility, we reserve the right in our decisions to give priority to those who already have the right to work in the UK.
  • To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which will, ordinarily, require you to have been a resident of the UK for at least three of the past five years.
  • Should you disclose a disability and meet the minimum criteria (which will include holding a relevant degree discipline/grade and achieving the required pass mark for Stage 1 Testing) for the role you’ll be progressed to the first stage of the selection process.
