Overview

On this 10–12-month Internship you will support the development of mechanical design concepts that encompass the latest design thinking on low energy and low carbon design, natural ventilation, sustainability and zero carbon Complete the design of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems Using software and digital tools to analysis and optimise solutions Use of 3D modelling packages (Revit) to develop system designs Undertake thermal and Building Regulation compliance modelling using proprietary software (IESVE or similar) Prepare mark-ups and work with other design team members to progress holistic design of the project in question.

For this opportunity, we are seeking the following qualifications, skills and attributes: Studying towards a Master's degree in Mechanical, Architectural, or Building Services Engineering, however strong Bachelor's degrees in these subjects will also be considered Studying, or have studied, an IMechE, CIBSE or Engineering Council accredited course Alongside your degree, we look for the following core attributes.
